Foireann na Seachtaine are our JuniorB Ladies who defeated Shankill on P7 in Roinn 8 on Wednesday. Our Inter Peil na mBan team sponsored by Mason Hayes & Curran defeated Clann Mhuire away in Intermediate Championship winning 3-24:3-6 to make it 3 out of 3 in the group stage. Our Junior As made it 3 out of 3 defeating Na Fianna at home. Inter hurlers lost by a point to Naomh Mearnóg in AHL3.
Seniors away to Pats Palmerstown in AFL3 on Wednesday.

Paddy Smyth helped the Áth Cliath Senior hurlers to victory Offaly on Sunday while Nathan Doran played fullback for Áth Cliath in the inaugural Faoi20 Leinster Championship with an opening round robin win away to Longfort.

Foireann na Seachtaine are our Inter Ladies who defeated Cuala at home in Intermediate Championship winning 4-11:1-6. They are away to Clann Mhuire on Wednesday in the next round. On the next pitch last Wednesday our Seniors had a win in AFL2 over St. Annes with a welcome return in dearg for Jack McCaffrey. Our Junior B men defeated St. Pats Donabate on Thursday while our Junior A men defeated Naomh Maur 1-24:2-7 on Tuesday. Junior B Peil na mBan came up against a strong Blessington team from across the Wicklow border on Wednesday.

Well done to our Faoi15 hurlers who won away to Castleknock on Sunday morning. Our Faoi10 cailíní played Skerries away in Camogie on Saturday while our Faoi9 buachaillí took part in a blitz in Drumnigh with Trinity Gaels and Scoil Uí Chonaill.

Paddy Smyth helped the Áth Cliath U21 hurlers to victory over Laois on Saturday while Grace Smith was part of the Faoi14 team who qualified for the All-Ireland Final after defeating Ciarraí in the Semi-Final on Sunday. Comhghairdeas to the Cluain Tarbh lads who helped Ardscoil Rís to the Faoi14 Leinster B Championship. Hard luck to Paddy Smyth and Áth Cliath Senior hurlers who for the second week in a row were edged out with Loch Garman scoring in injury time to win by two points. On Saturday Kevin Byrne was part of the Áth Cliath Minor hurling team that defeated Laois in the next round of the round robin Leinster MHC.

Well done to our Inter Peil na mBan team who opened their Intermediate Championship Campaign with a 5-12:2-6 win away to Skerries Harps. They will host Cuala in the next round this Wednesday. Junior B ladies defeated St. Finians Newcastle at home on Wednesday. Our Senior Peiladóirí led at half time away to Fingallians in AFL2 but lost out at the end. Inter hurlers lost in AHL3 against Sylvesters. Junior B hurlers lost out by the minimum in a high scoring game away to Kilmacud Crokes on Thursday while Junior A hurlers had a fine win in AHL6 away to Kevins. Junior A footballers beat BSJ away on Sunday and sit joint 3rd in AFL5. Junior B lost the local derby in AFL9 across the park to Raheny.

Minor A defeated Sylvesters midweek 1-14:1-9 with some fine fielding from Laoch na hImeratha Leo Cunningham. Sunday proved a bridge too far as injuries caught up with the team in a defeat to Skerries. Although behind at half time they battled well tar eis an briseadh and did outscore Harps in the second half.

Both Minor B and C lost on Sunday with Bs down to bare bones of players against Whitehall while Cs came up against a strong Liffey Gaels team on P34. With an exam break now there will be time to recharge the batteries before games resume in July.

Our Faoi14B cailíní took part in Féile on Saturday hosted by Cuala in Thomastown. They defeated Thomas Davis in their first game but lost out to the host club and Trinity Gaels.

Faoi15 cailíní had a big half time lead but held out against a strong second half from Fox Cab to share the points. Our Faoi12B hurlers won a very low scoring hurling league match on Friday night against Castleknock. Our Faoi9 buachaillí had a successful Go Games hurling outing against Whitehall Colmcille on a very sunny DCC. Well done to Sokeen Ryan who got his first lift and strike point for the Cavaliers. Faoi10 buachaillí followed the action hosting Clanna Gael Fontenoy. Faoi13C buachaillí enjoyed their afternoon in the sun on P21 defeating Round Towers on Saturday. Great numbers out for the local derby for Faoi11 cailíní as they hosted Raheny on P30 on Sunday.

GRMA to all the customers of AIB Bank Drumcondra who nominated the club as their preferred sports club while purchasing Home Insurance in the last year. The club received €1350 and a €1000 voucher for O'Neills from AIB.

Last Thursday 10th we marked 10 years since our new pitches were opened on P34/35. The first game back in 2008 was a 2-5:1-8 draw against Templeogue Synge St in AFL2. The first cluiche of the next decade on the pitches was a football match for our Faoi16 buachaillí against neighbours Raheny on Saturday which resulted in a 5-17:0-17 win for Cluain Tarbh.

Sunday was a historic day for hurling in the club as we supplied both nr 2s to The Dubs who took on The Cats in Páirc Parnell. Kevin Byrne made his Minor Championship debut while Paddy Smyth made his Senior Championship debut in a thrilling match which saw Áth Cliath narrowly miss out. Next up is an away trip to Loch Garman next Sunday.

Earlier in the morning our Roinn 2 Minor Hurlers had a very strong second half against the amalgamated team Thomas Clarke Gaels overturning a 4 point half time deficit to win 1-18:1-12.

Junior A ladies had a 3-8:1-10 midweek win away to BBSE in Roinn 4. Faoi15 cailíní kept reiteoir busy in his notebook scoring 12-16 away to Naomh Jude. Minor A cailíní enjoyed a 5-11:1-13 victory at home to BBSE in Roinn 1 last Monday night.

Ádh mór to our Inter Ladies who have their first outing in the Inter Peil na mBan Championship away to Skerries on Wednesday.

Well done to our Camógs who took part in half time games on Sunday during the Áth Cliath-Offaly Leinster Camogie Semi-Final on Sunday in Parnells.

Junior As had a narrow 1 point win away to TSS on Tuesday 1-11:0-13 while our Junior Bs completed the double against the same opposition on Thursday.

Well done to the Faoi12Bs who had a thrilling win in an end to end contest against Garristown on a very sunny P30 on Saturday lunchtime. A little later our Faoi13 C hurlers played an entertaining albeit low scoring draw against Fingallians. Earlier in the morning our Faoi9 buachaillí enjoyed their journey back on the M1 after a successful morning of Go Games Peil against O'Dwyers in Balbriggan.

Féile Peil na nÓg action for our Sherry Fitzgerald sponsored Faoi14 buachaillí at the weekend. Bs were out in Bohernabreena and topped the table on score difference but on head to head travelled to Donabate where they defeated Round Towers in the Semi-Final. Sunday saw the team travel for the clubs first outing in Tallaght Stadium. Unfortunately the lads lost out by a single point to Naomh Jude 2-2:1.4.

Our C's had the short trip across St. Anne's Park to neighbours Raheny. They were edged out of top spot by score difference and headed to Cuala for a semi final where they came up against a strong TSS team.

A's hosted a very competitive Roinn 1 group with Lucan Sarsfields, Kilmacud Croke who will both contest the final & Naomh Jude. GRMA to all who assisted the hosting at P34/35.

A red letter day for our Irish School of Motoring sponsored Minor buachaillí with all 3 foirne peile winning their league fixtures on Sunday. Roinn 1 defeated Lucan Sarsfields 1-16:2-10 in the blazing sunshine. Roinn 3 team emerged on the right side of the scoreline in a high scoring encounter against Naomh Peregrine winning 7-14:6-10. Roinn 4 team had a good win away to Whitehall Colmcille 7-17:1-4 with a spread of 9 scorers and Finn McC bagging a hattrick of cúls.ii

Faoi9 buachaillí had a road trip to Castleknock on a fantastic morning for hurling. Patriots and Jaguars were competitive but came up against strong home teams. GRMA to the Castleknock lads who guested for Jaguars to even the numbers and Ruadhán McHugh got into the ground hurling with gusto and split his camán. The Eagles took off in the last few minutes with a super volley cúilín from Liam Gallagher making the difference.

Comhghairdeas to Grace Smith who brings another Leinster medal to the club. She scored 1-2 to help Áth Cliath defeat An Mhí in the Faoi14 Peil na mBan final in Clane on Saturday.

We had a special guest in Cúldoras on Sunday night as the Lidl Peil na mBan NFL 1 trophy visited after Áth Cliath recorded their maiden league title on Sunday. Well done to Katie Murray, Siobhan Killeen, Bainisteoir Mick Bohan and his backroom team.

Foireann na Seachtaine are our Faoi14 cailíní who were the clubs first representatives in Camogie Féile at the weekend. They won their 3 group games to top the group and defeated Naomh Maur in the semi final. They led throughout but agonisingly lost the final by a point to BSJ 2-3:2-2. They did the club proud and we look forward to them carrying the standard for Camogie in the club in the years to come. GRMA to Naomh Mearnóg & Naomh Peregrines who hosted.

Our Seniors had a tough match against a strong Ciceam Baile Munna team on Friday night in SFC1. Well done to our Junior As who enjoyed a 1 point victory away to TSS in JFC1 on Sunday. Junior Bs had two points to spare over Na Fianna. Minor A hurlers got the cúls that mattered to defeat Naomh Mearnóg 3-9:0-9 while our Bs played well but couldn't hold out against a strong Skerries team. Our Junior A Ladies defeated Parnells 2-6:0-11 in Roinn 4 while Inter Ladies won 4-21:4-10 at home to Sylvesters on Wednesday.
 
Well done to our younger players who made their communion on Saturday.
 
Unfortunately due to lack of numbers Tour De Cluain Tarbh our cycle will not take place on Monday.

Well done to both Faoi14 hurling teams who took part in Féile na nGael on Saturday. A's won two of their group games and made it to the Roinn 2 semi-final where they lost out to Faughs. GRMA to host clubs Cuala, Round Towers & Plunketts who hosted the semi-final.

Our Inter hurlers had a 3 point defeat away to Kilmacud Crokes in the Intermediate Championship on Saturday evening. Junior A hurlers are Foireann na Seachtaine with a good away win 1-13:1-6 against Tomás Dáibhís. Laochra na seachtaine is Noel Hickey who got in some serious training for Tour De Cluain Tarbh by cycling out to Kiltipper to support the team.

Strong performances from our 3 Minor Boys teams in football league action on Sunday. As defeated Na Fianna 1-10:0-10. Bs had a poor first half but put in a storming second half against the wind in a loss to St.Pauls. Cs recorded an excellent 2-14 : 3-9 win over league leaders OPER. 5 points down with 5 to play, goals from Sam Owens & Alan O'Regan helped turn the tide.

History will be made on Saturday with our Faoi14 cailíní taking part in Camogie Féile which will be hosted by Naomh Mearnóg. Ádh mór girls, hope you enjoy the occasion.

Seniors are in Championship action versus Ballymun in Balgriffin on Friday night. Junior As are away to TSS on Sunday morning in Junior 1 Championship while Junior Bs host Na Fianna in Junior 3 Championship on Sunday afternoon.

Ladies are in Roinn 1 action on Wednesday hosting Sylvesters while Junior A Peil na mBan are away to Parnells in Chanel.

Faoi11 buachaillí smelled the freshly cut grass in Cornelscourt as they defeated Geraldine Morans 4-3:2-1. 3 team were at home against a well drilled Naomh Jude with the Cyclones recording an exciting narrow victory of 6-4:6-3

Foireann na Seachtaine are our Faoi15B buachaillí who defeated Naomh Jude 3-10:2-3 away in Championship on a pretty wet morning. Despite the conditions there was some nice football on display in a great team performance and well done to the U14s who played up with gamekeeper turned poacher Morgan McMahon trading goalkeeping duties to get two goals.

Adult Football Championship action took place over the weekend. Senior Peiladóirí lost to a strong Castleknock team in O'Toole Park. Junior As received a walkover while Junior Bs won away to Barróg in a low scoring game 0-8:1-4.

Hard luck to our Faoi14A cailíní who missed out on Féile Roinn 1 Semi Final based on scoring difference. They got off to a good start defeating Clanna Gael Fontenoy 4-4:3-3 in their first group game. The B teams Féile will take place in May.

Two good opening day wins for our Minor hurlers in the revamped league format. Our Roinn 2N team defeated Erins Isle 4-17:0-4 with a strong collective team effort with Mark H having a strong game in defense while Mikey D and Tommy O got some fine scores. The second team also played Isles in an open contest. We recovered from a 3 point deficit 5 minutes into the second half to win 3-17:4-7 with a scoring burst of 1-10 in the last 25 minutes. Stephen E picked up some fine points from play in this Roinn 4 win.

Well done to Minor A cailíní who defeated Kilmacud Crokes 2-13:1-8 at home on Saturday.

Well done to our Faoi13C buachaillí who enjoyed a 3 point win on a lovely afternoon away to Fingallians in Sord. We wish a speedy recovery from injury to the BSJ player who was injured in the Roinn 2 clash which resulted in the game being abandoned.

Our Faoi9 buachaillí had a good visit out to Drumnigh winning 2 out of 3 against Trinity Gaels with Adam Byrne scoring a cúl for The Patriots. Well done to Cal Doran and Ryan Collender who took a half each for the home team and enjoyed taking on their team mates.

First club Championship action took place over the weekend. A hurlers hosted Naomh Peregrine on Saturday evening in 1st group game in Intermediate Championship and it finished in a draw 0-14:1-11. Junior A hurlers defeated Wild Geese in JHCD 3-9:1-5.

Our Senior Peiladóirí are in Senior Championship action against Castleknock in O'Toole Park at 5.45pm Saturday 14th. Junior As host Peregrines on Sunday morning at 11am while Junior Bs are away to Barróg Sunday at 3pm. Please support. Ádh mór to our Faoi15 buachaillí who will play hopefully the first of many Championship cluichí for Cluain Tarbh on Sunday.

Minor A buachaillí had a thrilling one point league win over Naomh Jude where they survived the concession of two second half goals winning 0-14:2-7 with Paddy G pointing the way with 7 points from saor ciceanna.

Faoi15 hurlers had a good win over Skerries 11-9:4-7 in the unusual surroundings of Trinity College grounds in Santry.

Seniors had a good win in the AFL2 local derby defeating Raheny 1-9:0-7 at a bright P35. Kevin Lillis got the cúl and Cluain Tarbh led 1-7:0-2 at the break. Raheny came out fighting in the second half and the victory was built on a strong defensive display.

Junior As lost 0-12:2-10 to Lucan at home while Junior Bs were pipped by a point by Vincents in AFL9 losing 0-11:2-6.

It was a very busy weekend for juvenile games after the sneachta. With Easter Holidays lots of players ended up playing 2 games, many played 3 and there might even be a few that played 4 with Cs playing up with Bs and Bs with As etc. Well done to all the players who played up a year as well with Donncha Gallagher from U12s getting a cúl in a fine win for the Faoi13Bs against Thomas Davis on Saturday. The effort from mentors, players and parents in ensuring as many games as possible took place is much appreciated.

Our Faoi9 buachaillí were happy hurlers on a lovely Spring morning as they took on O'Dwyers at home and Grúpa 1 headed up Collins Ave to take on Whitehall Colmcille's. Patrick O'Reilly and Rian Dooley were among the goals for the 'Jaguars', the 'Patriots' had a fine win while the 'Eagles' had their wings clipped by a strong Whitehall team.

It was a beautiful morning at An Naíolann our nursery which will take a sos (break) for Easter Saturday.

Mixed weekend on the páirc with several matches cancelled due to unplayable pitches. It started off well under Friday night lights with our Minor C buachaillí defeating Ballyfermot DLS on P35 while next door on 34 our Faoi15 B buachaillí got their first win of the 2018 campaign with a 2-8:2-1 victory over Cuala.

Our Adult A hurlers defeated Peregrines 01-6:1-6, our B hurlers were defeated by Ballyboden St.Endas while our third hurling team had their second victory though they were denied an outing as they received a walkover.

Minor A buachaillí put in a strong performance but lost out to Crokes 1-15:1-8 while Minor Bs narrowly lost away to Na Fianna.

Contrasting fortunes in Russell Park on Saturday as our Faoi9 buachaillí hurled very well against St Brigids in Go Games. Our Faoi13 C buachaillí had a very tough afternoon but showed great character to keep going and get some scores in the second half of their football grading game.

The club as part of our Healthy Club initiative will be inviting players, parents and coaches to 'Get Match Fit'. Look out for details later this week.

Our Faoi14 cailíní are holding a Race Night Fundraiser for Féile this Thursday 15th in Cúldoras. First race is off at 9pm. Please come along and support.

Cúldoras will open at 2.15pm on Lá Fhéile Pádraig. The astro is open for páistí and the Ireland-England rugbaí will be shown from 2.45pm with finger food served in the bar.

Foireann na seachtaine are our Junior B hurlers who had a very successful first competitive game in AHL9 on Sunday. Away to Réalt Dearg in Drimngh Castle the first half was a cagey affair with Cluain Tarbh leading by the minimum 0-4:0-3. The lads opened up in the second half winning 4-14:0-4 with a mixture of youth from some minors to experience. Inter hurlers lost in AHL3 away to Pats Palmerstown while Junior A hurlers narrowly lost in the winter sun at home to Naomh Fionnbarra.

Good win for Minor A buachaillí defeating St.Vincents 2-4:0-6 in Roinn 1. The club fielded 3 minor football teams on Sunday and were scheduled to field three minor peil na mban teams on Saturday with the Minor A cailíní defeating Cuala 5-9:1-5 away in Roinn 1.

Faoi15A buachaillí made it 4 from 4 with a win away to TSS while Bs missed out losing on reversed scores of 3-4:4-3 at home to Naomh Ólaf.

Our Faoi11 buachaillí hurled well against St.Annes on DCC and away to Na Fianna. Hard luck to Mike Fitz who's attempted goal from a diving header was saved on the line! Faoi9 buachaillí continued Go Games with hurling cluichí against Naomh Barróg on Saturday.

Comhghairdeas to our GPO Ger Dinan who was part of the Dublin North Colleges management team that lifted the Leinster Hurling title on Thursday.

Sam Maguire made a surprise appearance at An Naíolann, our nursery on Saturday morning. Hopefully some of our nursery members will get a chance to lift Sam or Brendan Martin when they are older as players.

Patrick Smyth lined out for the Dubs against Al-Ireland Champions Gaillimh in Páirc Parnell while Katie Murray played for Áth Cliath Peil na mBan in the televised game against Maigh Eo in Castlebar.

Following up on the first outing for our third adult hurling team last week Sunday was the first day we fielded two Minor Hurling teams within the club. Well done to all 37 players who togged out including the Faoi16 lads that played up with 1 win and 1 defeat.

Our Seniors won the local derby in their first outing in AFL2 defeating Scoil Uí Chonaill 1-10:0-7. A cúl from Kevin Lillis featured in a big second half as they recovered from a 0-4:0-2 half time deficit. Our Junior A peiladóirí defeated O'Dwyers 0-14:-0-8 in AFL5 while our Junior B team lost to Ballyfermot DLS in AFL9.

Our Faoi15A buachaillí made it 3 wins from 3 in Roinn 2 defeating Ballymun Kickhams at home. The Bs put in a great shift in Castleknock but lost out. The Faoi11 Eagles took to the skies and had a good win away against BSJ while the crossover Bobcats-Falcons playing as the Wolves  showed promise in a tough outing.

The Faoi9 buachaillí had their first Peil Go Games on Saturday hosting Sylvesters. Well done to the Eagles, Patriots and Jaguars who all played really well.

GRMA to Kerry legend Dara Ó Cinnéide who was the guest speaker at the annual Chairman's Evening sponsored by Trustee Decisions which took place on Friday night at the clubhouse. Dara provided a very entertaining recount of his GAA career with An Ghaeltacht and Ciarraí and the characters that influenced him along the way. His insights into coaching and the GAA in general captivated the audience for the evening. Congratulations to Noel Hickey who was presented with a Club Fleece as a Special Appreciation Award. Congratulations also to Trish Duffy who received The Club Person of the Year award sponsored by Duggan Jewelers.

For the first time Cluain Tarbh will field 3 adult hurling teams in 2018 and on Sunday our Junior B hurlers defeated Erins Isle in their first challenge game. This was their first outing with a blend of experience with the team having players ranging in age from 18 to 52.

Imreoir na seachtaine is Ciarán Giles who grabbed a hat trick of goals playing up for U15s. He was ably assisted by his brother Cian and Cillian Hayes and Fionn Magner who played up from U13s in a battling performance against James Gaels. Unfortunately the team were edged out in an entertaining match. U15As had a good win in their league opener away to Naomh Mearnóg.

Well done to Paddy Smyth who helped Áth Cliath hurlers edge out Aontroim in AHL 1B. Katie Murray started for Áth Cliath Peil na mBan in their league victory over Westmeath.
