The club will celebrate the success of our lady player Fiona Coghlan in captaining the Irish Rugby team to their recent Gland Slam win. The evening in the clubhouse will consist of a meal and Damien O' Meara will have a question and answer session with Fiona after the meal. We would like to invite all club members to join us in celebrating Fiona's success. A presentation will be made to Fiona on the night. Winter, at least in GAA circles, is over and spring is upon us. Yesterday was opening day of the season for our Adult football teams, with all 3 cup matches at home in resplendent St. Annes Pk. It was the first competitive outing for Noel McCaffrey as the new Senior manager, along with several other new faces at the Adult management level, including a welcome return to action for Al O’Donoghue. Paul Brownen the most recent recipient of our Club Person of the Year award has been a proud member of Clontarf GAA since it’s founding year in 1961.

At that time he lined out with the Under 11 footballers and represented the club at juvenile hurling and football before concentrating on Adult football and helping the club move up from Junior to Intermediate ranks.  Read More

The 2012 Annual General Meeting of Clontarf GAA Club will take place on Tuesday 11th December 2012 at 8pm in Áras Chluain Tarbh. Following the AGM a Special General Meeting will be held. The purpose of the SGM is to put forward the relevant motions to adopt a new club constitution and bye laws. Copies of the current and proposed constitutions along with the proposed bye laws and available for download. This weekend marks the 10th anninversary of the opening on the club bar, An Cúldoras. To mark the occasion, drinks will be at 2002 prices (except Fat Frogs which didn't exist then ) on Sunday evening and we hope to have a good crowd down. The astro will also be open 6-8pm Sunday night for kids. Hope you can drop down for a drink.

This is the biggest weekend in the DLGFA calendar, with club teams competing for honours in various age groups and categories. Please do all you can to encourage squads to support our teams in competition, particularly on Pitch 34 where two of our teams will be playing.
