Adult Hurling – Hurlers lost a close encounter in the league to Crumlin (1-10,3-09), not helped by the loss of the Devine brothers and the injured Peadar Hickey. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Ger Devine.

Minors – Hurlers beat Scoil Ui Chonaill in the league (0-15, 1-5). John Maguire and Cormac Golden were excellent in defence, while Eoin Cronin led the way in scoring with a superb 10pts.

Under 16 – Nothing to report.

Under 15 – A team had a very good win away V St. Brigids. This was a strong collective team performance with a great work rate. Best for Clontarf were Mark Hughes, Ryan Lattin and Mark Plunkett.

Under 14 – Congrats to Niall Terry, Ronan McDyer, Maitias McDonagh and Robert Diffley for making the Dublin North U14 hurling panel.

B team lost to Na Fianna B in a very disappointing performance, with several players making no effort at all. There were great performances from the U13 players who helped out – Cian Manley, Conor Rossi, John Moriarty and especially Sean Brodie.

Under 13 – No matches this weekend due to Feile.

Under 12 – All 3 teams had good league wins on Sat. A’s bet Sylvesters by 5pts, B’s defeated Round Towers (3-4,1-5), while C’s beat Fingallians (4-6,2-0). There were excellent performances from all and in particular Karl Ranson, Jack Clarke and Sean Grainger.

Under 11 - All 3 U11 football teams put in strong second half displays to record narrow league wins against Oliver Plunketts (2 teams) and St Vincents. Very impressive results as we were missing several key players

Under 10 – 3 teams played Na Fianna, winning 2 and losing 1, but winning the tie overall (68,63). Well done to all involved.

Under 9 –
1st team won the overall tie away to St. Peregrines, well done to all. Special mention for Luke Byrne, James Doran and Oisin Dodd on much improved performances.

2nd team gave a good account of themselves away to Na Fianna, unfortunetly just didn’t get that bit of luck. Special mention to Ciaran McKeown who had an outstanding game.

Clontarf scorers:- C Doyle 1 - 2, F Ward/H Cliff 1 – 0, Ciara O'Connor/N McNally 0-1

Ladies Junior – League  Div. 7, Clontarf 3-6 St. James Gaels 1-4

The Clontarf ladies started this game in business like fashion and within minutes were a goal up after a well hit effort from the right by Amy Farrell beat the St James' keeper.   This was to be Clontarf's only score of the first half and some sloppy defending allowed St. James back into the game with 1-3 scored.  The game stood at 1-0 to 1-3 at the break.  The second half saw the Clontarf ladies begin to exert control over midfield and early pressure was rewarded with a close in goal from Maeve O'Malley.  After this Ciara Carville 0-2, Catherine Duane1-2 and Fiona McGinn 0-2 all discovered their shooting boots and should have had more!  With Grainne Free, Miriam Foley and Ruth McGinn dominating around the midfield area and Emer Shalloo doing an excellent marking job on the opposition's most dangerous forward very little threatened the inside defence.  What did get through was dealt with by a defence in which Fiona McCabe particularly showed well.  St. James were ultimately restricted to a single second half point that came from a free.
