Under 16 Hurling, report from last week -
U 16 hurlers registered a good win against Craobh Chiarain on Saturday with a scoreline of 0-14 to 1-08. Clontarf midfield was on top with Brian Forde's long range points and Matias Mc Donaghs' long runs hurting Craobh. Thomas O Donoghue and Ronan Mc Dyer battled intensely up front and won vital scores. Against a strong wind in the second half Niall Dunleavey and Eoghan Hickey cleared countless balls but it was Robert (Bobbo) Forrest in goals who kept Clontarf in the game against a resurgent Craobh with three blinding saves in the last 10 minutes. Well done to all.

JUVENILE GAMES:
Easter was a quiet weekend with no games scheduled. However as always Clontarf had 2 representatives at the Easter U12 Dublin tournament. Well done to Barry Davis and Ciaran Hanson who were part of the winning Dublin North team last Sat.

LADIES GAMES:
Inters:
Clontarf lost their opening league encounter by 2 points, when they conceded to goals in the closing 6 minutes, in McGee Park in Tallaght. Clontarf started stronger, but failed to capitalise on their possession, particularly in the second half. Anne-Marie Heery was solid in defence, and the scores came from Sarah McGrath (1-4), Carrie O'Connor (0-3), Niamh McNally, Ruth Reynolds and Sarah Murphy (0-1).

U18 Girls:
The Ladies minor team suffered a defeat against a very strong Ballyboden side.  Ballyboden did most of the damage in the first half, however the Clontarf backs shut them down in the second half and very few balls got through.  Next game at home against St Bridgets on Monday 27th April.
