TEAM OF THE WEEK:
Congratulations all around to all involved in the under-13 girls’ win over Cuala at the weekend.
 
ADULT GAMES:
Few games on at either Adult or Juvenile level, with may call-offs due to the lousy weather.
 
Junior B's AFL8:
 
Junior B's played Ballinteer in promotion playoff semi final on Sunday afternoon. They produced a great team performance to win 0-10 to 0-7. Best for Clontarf were Donal Redmond, Colly O'Connor, Conor Cronin and Colm Kilfeather. They now face St Brigids in the final for promotion to AFL 7 date tbc later this week.
 
Under 21s:
The hurlers play St Marks in the Championship on pitch pitch 34, throw in 7.30pm tomorrow (Tuesday).
The footballers play their Championship semi final v Kilmacud Crokes in Silverpark ( Kilmacud ), throw in 2.45pm on Saturday. Support for both games would be greatly appreciated
 
JUVENILE GAMES:
 
Under 16s:
Under 16 footballers are playing a very important league match on Pitch 34 tonight at 8pm. Please try to come out and support them as all support  is greatly appreciated.
 
Under 13s:
Results from weekend - 
U13 Football Division 1 :   Thomas Davis A : 5-6       Cluain Tarbh A : 0-6.
U13 Football Division 7 :    St Brigids vs Cluain Tarbh B  - Match Off.
 
Under nine hurling:
 
The first of two “indoor” tournaments on the Astro started in style with a Clontarf 1 and 2 selection achieving three emphatic wins and a 7-7 draw with the visitors from St Vincent’s. Special thanks to the “willing volunteers” from Clontarf who made up the numbers for the under-strength and who pulled on the white and blue for a match or two, and gave their all for Vins. Special mention too for the parents and all those who helped out. We’re back from 1pm at the club next Sunday for the final.
 
LADIES GAMES:
 
Gaelic 4 Mothers started last Monday with 24 mothers participating despite the weather. We still have space for a few more on the Astro each Monday from 8.30-9.30pm
 
U16 Division 2 Next V Castleknock away on November 22 at 2pm.
U14 Division 1 next match V Ballyboden away on November 21 at 2pm.
 
Under 13 girls did the club proud today playing brilliantly to bring home the Shield for Clontarf  against Cuala 6-8 to 3-3 in glorious sunshine at Naomh Mearnog.  It was a fantastic team performance that came from the hard work throughout the year with every girl giving their best.
Great scores, great defending overall a great game of possession football   - a superb team performance. Thanks to all the parents for all their support throughout the year and to all the supporters today.
 
Next match V Brigids - Pitch 34 November 22 at 2pm.
