2 out of 3 opening day victories for our hurlers. Our Inter hurlers started their AHL3 on a gloomy morning in St. Anne's Park but their performance brightened the day winning 3-16:0-7 against Pats Palmerstown. Junior A hurlers had a tough start in AHL6 coming up against a strong Naomh Fionnbarra away. In the afternoon a Junior B team that spanned the decades with an age range of 33 years between oldest and youngest defeated Réalt Dearg in AHL9 at home.

Minor buachaillí opened their peil league campaigns with As losing out in Roinn 1 away to Skerries Harps by 8 points. Bs put in a tremendous second half recovery to claw back a 9 point deficit to win by the minimum with Daniel Roddy getting the winning score in a 2-14:4-7 win against Craobh Chiaráin. 2 goals from Max Hession were crucial in the win. Cs opened up their campaign under lights on Monday night and some goals sa dara leath led to victory over Na Fianna. Well done to the 4 U16s who played up for their first taste of minor football. Hard luck to the Faoi13 Bs who narrowly lost out in a second half shootout against Scoil with 15 goals being shared between the teams.
