It was a clean sweep of victories for Clontarf teams today in 3 important matches. First up were the Adult hurlers who defeated Liffey Gaels (3-17,1-9) in a must win match to secure their AHL5 status for next season. Ro Kenny gave a man of the match performance while there were other excellent displays from Robbie Stokes, Ger Devine, John Maguire and Jimmy Cantwell. Minutes later on pitch 35 the Minor Footballers clinched a place in the Minor B Championship Final v St. Pats Palmerstown when they defeated Cuala on a scorline of (1-13-0-6). The U15 Footballers rounded off a great day when they defeated St. Annes (4-9,2-5) to take the U15 B Championship title. Amongst the many fine displays it was Clontarf centre forward Conor Harty who scooped the Man Of The Match award.
