It is with deepest sympathy that Clontarf GAA Club note the passing of P.J. Lynch, former Chairman (1995-1996) and club stalwart for four decades. His departure from this world is the club’s loss, a loss to Dublin GAA, and to Gaeldom in general.

P.J. epitomised the heart, soul, and spirit of the club. He was involved as a mentor with several generations of players and his loyalty and devotion to Clontarf GAA was unbounded. He also ably represented Cluain Tarbh at county board level, serving as Chairman of the North-East Board and he served as a steward in Croke Park for many years.

As a friend, colleague, and ambassador he offered support and encouragement to everyone. He was always there for us.

Clontarf GAA offers its sincerest condolences to P.J.’s wife Mary and his immediate and extended family.

Slán leat P.J. agus le cúnamh Dé beimid go léir le chéile arís ag am eile agus in áit eile.
