Clontarf Viking Festival, June 8th-9th
All club members are encouraged to support local business next weekend. Proudly sponsored by Fáilte Ireland and Dublin Port, this year’s summer festival hosted by the Clontarf Business Association will be a themed event highlighting Clontarf’s historic connection with Vikings and the upcoming millennium of the Battle of Clontarf 2014.

We invite all our club members and friends to take part in a Family Fun Day on Sunday May 13th at our main pitches beside the St. Annes Rose Gardens. There's lots of entertainment for all the family, with 5K/2.5 fun runs, Tug O'War, relay races, hurling,football,basketball target competitions and our 1st BBQ of the season. Well done to our 2 Girls U14 Feile teams who made it to their respective county finals on Sunday in Parnell Park. Our U14B side defeated Foxrock/Cabinteely to claim the Div 6 title on a scoreline of (1-4,0-2), while our Div 2 side were unfortunate to lose in extra time after a titantic battle with Na Fianna.  Pictures from the weekend will be available soon.

Meitheal success
On Good Friday a group of 29 volunteers from across all areas of the club came together to help with the annual pitch maintenance work (See attached images ). Under the guidance of Donal Nolan the group re sodded the goalmouth areas on pitch 34/35,before continuing onto pitch 21.

The club will run 3 Easter Camps this year, the standard Easter Camp for boys and girls ages 5-13 and advanced hurling and football camps featuring inter county stars.

The Sam Maguire will visit the clubhouse on Sat 18th from noon till 7pm and then on to the Dinner Dance in Clontarf Castle. A full schedule of the days activities is attached. Teams are requested to be in attendance 10mins prior to their appointed slot and are requested to cooperate with and follow the directions of club officials on the day.

Bookings are now being taken for the Annual club Dinner Dance at Clontarf Castle on Sat February 18th at 8pm. Sam Maguire will be a special guest on the night and tickets prices have reduced from €65 to €55 this year. Contact club secretary Patricia Reynolds at 0872337534.
