Our third Club Focus interviewee is Morgan Walsh who plays with our senior footballer. Morgan has also been part of the initiative to pair adult footballers with juvenile teams and he has supported the Faoi12 buachaillí this year.

6. What is your best memory of playing for Cluain Tarbh?

First Championship game v Ravens

7. Do you have any superstitions/routines before you play a match?

Not really, same food on a match day

8. If you could pick one place in the world to live where would it be?


9. Which player is the worst trainer on your team?

Hate calling people out but I've got to say Teddy

10. What’s your favourite ground to play at?

Has to be at home on the carpets

12. What match did you most enjoy playing in?

First senior game v Barrog

13. If you weren’t playing football what sport would you most like to play?

I'd love to go back playing hurling

15. If you were part of the rules committee what one thing would you change about the game?

Very hard to implement but putting a stop to diving

Probably Graham Cullen out in Skerries. Gave me a roasting.

18. Where is your favourite holiday destination?

So far Laos, still have to try Thailand though.

19. Any pieces of advice for juvenile players?

Just to stick with it. Very easy to give it up as you get older and never go back.
