OsKaRs 2019

Think you’d be a mean Dessie Curley? (a)

Think your Bull McCabe impression is the best? (b)

Reckon you can run like Forrest Gump? (c)

Can you handle the truth? (d) Or lead the choir like Sister Mary Clarence? (e)

Well then we’ve got the event for you..........

On Friday 5th April 2019 Cluain Tarbh are going to the OsKaRs, bringing the glamour of Hollywood to Clontarf, but we need your help to get there.

Thank you to all who attended our information nights in October and November. This Wednesday January 9th we will have our Casting Nights. There are two sessions, 7-8pm and 8-9pm in Áras Chluain Tarbh.

This is more than a club event, we want anyone who has dreams of life on the big screen, so Mentors, Players, Parents, Friends and Family and anyone from the area are all encouraged to attend and get involved. The Cluain Tarbh OsKaRs promises to be the Community Event of 2019.

We are looking for 3 "Actors" from each team. These could be players from adult teams, parents from juvenile teams, mentors! or neighbours, family or friends. There is not a massive commitment required to be actors, there will be 4 one hour 'acting lessons' and then the movie itself will be filmed over a half day on a Saturday or Sunday.

We are also looking for some 'Producers' so if you would like to be involved in organising the event but stay behind the camera this could be the role for you. Producers will be involved in recruitment (casting!) and fundraising (financing!).

Here is an example movie trailer

If you're interested in getting involved you can contact oskars@clontarfgaa.com
